As our new Assistant Procurement Category Manager in the General Procurement team, you’ll help us get the best value for our money and make a real difference to the lives of our customers along the way.

What you’ll do

• Help shape smart sourcing decisions by turning data into clear, useful insight
• Keep procurement projects on track by supporting everything from strategy to delivery
• Make sure tenders stick to public procurement rules with your careful guidance
• Show teams how to buy things the right way and make audits a breeze
• Keep our Oracle systems shipshape so colleagues can rely on them
• Manage your own spend categories, making sure suppliers deliver on their promises

Job details

• You’ll work Monday to Friday
• We work a hybrid working pattern with 2 days a week in the office. Our anchor day is Monday then your second day can fit around you.
• You’ll manage your own diary, so if you want to take a longer lunch for a haircut or swim, you can use your flexi time to manage that!
