Description:

We are looking for the Senior Data Center HVAC Service Representative to be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and critical cooling systems within data center environments. This role requires advanced technical expertise, extensive field experience, and the ability to handle complex troubleshooting and escalations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of data center cooling technologies, including both air and liquid cooling systems, and is committed to ensuring high level of system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency. Additionally, the role includes providing technical guidance to junior engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Carry out site activities including startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications of HVAC equipment.
  • Support and work on liquid cooling systems, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Handle complex technical issues and resolve escalated service cases independently.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians within the team.
  • Collaborate with the regional quality and factory teams on escalated cases and root cause analysis reports.
  • Diagnose faults and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
  • Provide technical support to on-site project managers during major project execution, including coordination, site meetings, and implementation activities to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of critical facilities. Drive continuous business improvement initiatives and provide expert consultation on cooling systems to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Ensure the accurate preparation, validation, and maintenance of all service-related technical documentation, including service reports, preventive maintenance records, commissioning/startup data, and escalation case records.
  • Provide high-level customer support and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Participate in continuous training and development programs (field and classroom).
  • Travel within the region or across the country to support customer requirements
Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in HVAC systems
  • 10+ years of field service repair and customer service experience in HVAC systems
  • Schneider Electric experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of data center HVAC systems, components, and operations
  • Safe driving and vehicle operation skills
  • Skilled at utilizing test and diagnostic equipment
  • Experience reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and theory of operation manuals.
  • Ability to write service reports, correspondence, and procedures; effectively present information and respond to customer questions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and people skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
