The InterContinental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotels. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1600 rooms, the four properties boast a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3, 800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5, 000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations of the pool bar.
• Prepare and serve beverages with consistency, and attention to guest preferences.
• Support the creation and promotion of seasonal and signature cocktails/mocktails.
• Keep the bar area clean, well-stocked, and inviting throughout the shift.
• Deliver exceptional service with a friendly and approachable attitude, creating a relaxed and welcoming poolside atmosphere.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints with care and escalate when necessary, logging all incidents for follow-up.
• Follow all cash handling, billing, and POS procedures accurately.
• Assist in the upkeep and basic maintenance of bar equipment.
• Monitor stock levels, ensuring timely reordering and proper storage.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in line with hotel policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support events, promotions, and smooth daily operations.

What we need from you:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with a can-do attitude.
• Friendly, outgoing, and confident with guests.
• Ability to stay composed and efficient in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Curiosity to learn and improve continuously.
• A passion for beverages and guest service.
• Previous experience in a bar or F& B service role (poolside or outdoor setting is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, safety, and cash handling procedures.
