Responsibilities Key Responsibilities - Participating in design sessions with key business users, gathering and documenting business processes and requirements for the system
- Ideal candidate will have expertise in MVC and Javascripts frameworks, Drupal CMS and
ecommerce, PHP, Java, HTML5, CSS3, ISML template files, Angular or React, RequireJS, RestAPI
development and integration, Drupal deployment procedures, expertise in SQL databases, Git concepts, Agile practices, LAMP full stack development practices. - Candidate must have hands-on experience on developing websites and portals in Drupal 8/9 utilizing, Acquia BLT, Pipelines and Git.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Participating in design and architecture sessions with key business users, gathering and documenting business processes and requirements for the system
- Advising business users on best practices for web designs, development or integration processes
- Develop and maintain e-commerce and other PH based portals
- Technology and solution leadership of complex Drupal based system including Rest API, Web services and Third party integrations
- Create custom modules leveraging Drupal hooks and plugins
- Install, test and deploy patches to the core CMS and modules
- Research, develop, test, and implement product backlog items (user stories and defects), including analysis and reporting, on the prioritized project backlog within schedule, ensure third party libraries are downloaded and maintained
- Support the deployment process, including review of logs for errors after code deployment to all environments
- Support of the application including fixing application issues
- This position offers multiple opportunities to work with other highly energetic team members within both the immediate team as well as coordinate collaborative development across projects and teams.
- Collaborate with a team of scrum masters, product owners and fellow engineers (remote and local)
- Document and lead the implementation of technical features, improvements, and innovations
- Continually look for ways to improve performance, quality, and efficiency
Qualifications Education & Experience Required - A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience required
- Strong written communications especially related to articulating technical specifications
- Passionate coders with 2 to 4 years of application development experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with experience working with PHP, Html, Java, Drupal, OOP, MVC, CSS, RDBMS, MySQL, LAMP, etc.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with LAMP full stack development practices
- Minimum 2 years' experience with e-Commerce development
- Minimum 2 years' experience in MVC and Javascripts frameworks
- Minimum 2 years' experience with HTML5, CSS3, ISML template files, Angular or React, RequireJS,
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Drupal e-Commerce
- Experienced in Acquia projects is a major plus
- RestAPI development and integration
- Knowledge and experience with Agile and TestDriven development methodologies
- Working knowledge of Git
- Expert Level SQL Knowledge, Apache
- A systems thinker, able to move fluidly between high-level abstract thinking and detail-oriented
implementation, open minded to new ideas, approaches, and technologies - A data and fact-driven decision maker, with an ability to make quick decisions under uncertainty when necessary; able to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and organizational structures/strategies
- Strong design and development experience with PHP, Drupal, e-Commerce and content management websites
- Understanding of current industry standard best practices regarding integration, architecture, tools, and processes
- Experience translating client requirements into technical designs.
- Agile experience in engineering capabilities and an architectural mind-sets.
- Strong oral and written communication skills - and a knack for explaining your decision-making process to non-engineers
- A thorough grasp of IT concepts, business operations, design and development tools, system
architecture and technical standards, shared software concepts and layered solutions and designs
Desired Skills: - Experience with automation and configuration management (Ansible, Jenkins)
- Experienced in Drupal DevOps and deployment models (Cloud and On-prem)
- Experience in Linux administration
