Description:

Nemours is seeking a Project Manager (Information Systems), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, Delaware.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating a project team to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering agile projects that provide exceptional business value to the organization.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope and schedule for projects with a keen focus on regular and timely delivery of value to the organization.
  • Organize and lead project status and working meetings, including preparing and distributing progress reports to team members and leadership.
  • Develop and facilitate an issues reporting and resolution process. Escalate irresolvable issues promptly to ensure quick response and corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Construct and maintain the necessary documentation and artifacts for agile teams and projects.
  • Promote empowerment of the team while holding them accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work.
  • Support product owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, assist with stakeholder communications and actively support governance processes.
  • Define and manage a well-defined agile project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience implementing information systems projects using agile or traditional project manager methodologies required.
  • A balanced technical/business background to provide highly credible leadership to technical teams required.
  • PMP, Agile Project Manager or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Prior experience with PM toolsets such as MS Project, Visio, and Office is preferred.
