Pediatric Neurologist at Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, DE.
We are looking for a skilled team builder, an effective teacher, and an outstanding clinician with expertise in general neurology. Her or she should have both excellent communication and interpersonal skills and relevant clinical expertise. He or she will have subspecialty training in a relevant area of neurology.
The position reports to the Division Chief of Neurology within the Department of Pediatrics. The successful candidate will have practice locations both at the main Wilmington campus and in other satellite locations in southern Delaware and, potentially, Maryland.
The Division provides inpatient and outpatient clinical services at locations in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. A faculty appointment consistent with the level of academic achievement will be provided at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. All levels of experience, including recent fellowship graduates who are board-eligible, will be considered. Qualified candidates will have experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team and with medically complex conditions.
Kery Responsibilities: - Serve as attending physician during designated weeks and participate in on-call coverage as part of the service team
- Conduct regular general neurology clinics
- Teach and mentor residents and medical students with emphasis on your specialty area
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research activities

Qualifications: - MD, DO or equivalent clinical doctoral degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME Accredited Pediatric Neurology Residency Program.
- Additional Subspecialty Training Preferred.
- Board Certification in Pediatric Medicine and Board Eligibility/ Certification in Neurology
- Eligibility to obtain valid DEA and Medical licensure in the state of Delaware
- An academic record commensurate with appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor
