Description:

The Director, Campaign Management, reporting to the Vice President, Campaigns and Operations, is responsible for developing strategies to advance fundraising for strategic campaigns for Nemours Children's with primary emphasis on Nemours Children's Health, Delaware. The Director is a technical writer and project manager for enterprise campaigns and monitors developments at Nemours Children's at regional and national levels to compose complex proposals and stewardship reports for current and potential donors; tracks and reports on fundraising progress; facilitates and participates in meetings with campaign leadership, donors, and internal stakeholders including Nemours Children's clinicians and executives to advance fundraising.

This position supports the Institutional Advancement team in all fundraising efforts with a primary focus on campaign development and will partner with colleagues in Campaigns and Operations, Corporate Alliance, Acquisition, Major Gifts, and Special Events.

Essential Functions:

1. Provide significant oversight and project management of the fundraising activities for several critical campaign initiatives including the efforts of direct solicitations, special events, corporate alliance, and direct mail as they relate to overall campaigns strategy.

2. Support the SVP, Philanthropy and the VP Campaigns and Operations on top prospects and donors in Delaware Valley with strong communication and transparency to the AVP, Strategic Giving and Campaign Stewardship, on status and plans.

3. Develop creative narratives with other fundraisers to communicate urgent and compelling funding opportunities, including an umbrella of disease specific funding campaigns.

4. Set and implement complex strategic campaign activities/collateral for a fundraising program considering all enterprise assets and assess their effectiveness.

5. Develop and implement project management plans for priorities and goals with an emphasis on consistency in strategy and analytics.

6. Develop a deep understanding of program content and goals to be able to write and design proposals to meet the sophisticated nature of prospective transformational, principal, and major gift donors in the most attractive and compelling product possible.

7. Create, maintain, and strengthen relationships with leadership, volunteer leaders, chiefs/physicians, researchers, and administrative directors to advance campaign efforts.

8. Stay current with Nemours Children's funding opportunities, priorities, and program growth to make appropriate recommendations for proposals.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree required.
