Description:
Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware (formerly Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children), is hiring a Clinical Staffing Coordinator for Therapy Services in Delaware Valley.
The Clinical Staffing Coordinator provides evaluation, treatment, and consultation independently to patients within the designated clinical discipline/program and demonstrates clinical proficiency in direct patient care. This position will have both clinical and administrative responsibilities.Exact percentages will be set by program or location.
Staffing duties include:
- Completes and maintains the staffing schedules for all clinical Per Diem and Float staff across Therapy Services department to ensure coverage to meet patient care needs including weekends and holidays.
- Effectively and efficiently communicates coverage needs to Per Diem and Float staff providing schedules and coverage responses to program managers.
- Works collaboratively with Manager of Quality and Clinical Practice and applicable Management team members to determine any coverage shortages and utilization opportunities.
- Assists to arrange replacement staffing and distribute available resources appropriately.
Administrative duties include:
- Assists Manager of Quality and Clinical Practice compiling, analyzing, and reporting data on efficiency and productivity of per diem and float staff.
- Assists Manager of Quality and Director of Operations on compiling requested data for analysis of metrics.
This position will have both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Exact percentages will be set by program or location.Job Requirements- Master's Degree in one of the following: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology; or its equivalent from a CAPTE, ACOTE, or ASHA-accredited university required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience required.
- State of Delaware License required upon hire in one of the following disciplines: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required within 6 months of date of hire and must be maintained for duration of employment.
- Clinical affiliation and/or work experience in pediatrics preferred.
