Description:
The Department of Orthopedics and Advanced Practice Nursing is seeking an APRN to our Orthopaedic APP team in Wilmington Delaware.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for collaborative medical management and orthopedic surgical care of pediatric patients.
- Responsible for communicating with families and coordinating care across multiple specialties for both the hospital and outpatient setting.
- Practices collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers to provide high quality health care to children.
- Performs ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient progress and revision of interdisciplinary plan of care.
- May use prescriptive authority if appropriately credentialed to do so.
- Identifies patient/family need for further resources and initiates appropriate referrals.
- Evaluates compliance with the prescribed treatment regimen through telephone calls, family/patient assessments and outpatient visits as needed.

Qualifications- MSN required
- Three years of related clinical experience preferred
- Active Delaware (or compact state) Registered Nurse Licensure required
- Active Delaware Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure, with prescriptive authority required
- Delaware Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
- Federal DEA registration with Delaware Address
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification required
- Pennsylvania Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure, with prescriptive authority required within 6 months of hire
- Current Pediatric Acute Care APRN Certification
