Help shape how small businesses become our customers. In this role, you'll improve acquisition-channel experiences to increase approvals and conversion, while balancing risk and regulatory expectations.

Job Summary:
As a Small Business Card Acquisition & Originations Product Manager in Small Business Card Originations, you will collaborate with key partners to build into our acquisition channels to drive increased approvals by streamlining originations and removing friction in application decisioning. You'll partner across Acquisition/Marketing, product, risk, operations, technology, and legal/compliance to deliver measurable improvements in conversion, approval rate, and speed-to-decision.

Job Responsibilities
  • Own the roadmap to improve acquisition-channel originations and decisioning outcomes, including approval rate, conversion, and speed-to-decision
  • Identify and remove friction across the application journey (data capture, verification, decisioning, and handoffs), partnering with teams to implement changes
  • Partner with Acquisition/Marketing and channel owners to translate acquisition strategy into enhancements to support originations
  • Coordinate delivery with technology and product teams, defining requirements and ensuring releases are executed effectively
  • Use data and funnel analytics to diagnose fallout drivers, quantify opportunities, and track performance over time
  • Establish clear governance and operating cadence to align priorities, manage dependencies, and resolve risks/issues
  • Partner with Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure changes meet policy, regulatory, and control expectations
  • Communicate roadmaps, tradeoffs, and results to stakeholders and senior leaders with clarity and accountability


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in lending/card product, originations, acquisition-channel optimization, decisioning, or closely related roles
  • Proven ability to improve acquisition funnel performance (e.g., application conversion, approval rate, speed-to-decision, auto-decision rate)
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management in a matrixed environment
  • Experience prioritizing competing workstreams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business goals into clear requirements and drive execution with technology and operations partners
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to identify issues, size opportunities, and measure outcomes
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Working knowledge of governance and controls in regulated environments; able to balance growth with risk requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced JIRA Align skills


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience with digital or retail card application processes
  • Small business credit card or Offer strategy experience
  • Bachelor's degree
