As a Strategy & Transformation - Analytics Solutions Payments on the Data and Analytics team, you will be responsible for applying analytical thinking and strategic skills to a broad range of challenges faced by the enterprise. You will analyze and exhibit domain expertise in data modeling, report development, data integration/injection/transformation, and business Intelligence industry best practices.
The
Data Science & Analytic Solutions team is responsible for analytic support of the Commercial and Investment Banking \"CIB\" Payments organization. As key partners with Payments, the DSAS team is central in adding data insights to help form business strategy through collaboration with business stakeholders. Key drivers to success are the effective management of data assets, analytical/visualization tools, disciplines and controls used for business readiness, process, and procedures. This includes creation of project plans, data workflows, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses that contribute to strategic objectives.
Job responsibilities: - Builds trusted relationships with stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and leadership
- Leads alignment on vision and roadmap across diverse stakeholders and leaders
- Communicates strategies and results effectively to executive stakeholders
- Develops dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business decision-making
- Creates go-to-market plans and ensure accountability of stakeholders
- Defines metrics and deliver business outcomes through strategic execution
- Manages projects within timelines, requirements, and business standards
- Analyzes complex data sets using advanced analytical methods.
- Conducts comprehensive data analysis and present findings
- Apply predictive modeling to enhance customer experiences and business outcomes
- Provides product and market insights through analytics and visualization
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - 3+ years of experience in financial services, business strategy, or general management, with a focus on program management of cross-functional projects
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools and analytics, such as Tableau, QlikSense, or similar platforms
- Experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
- Fundamental understanding of data visualization principles and the ability to effectively communicate insights through data storytelling
- Experience with relational databases, data warehouses, and proficiency in SQL
- Capability to conduct root cause analysis and identify trends within data.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Proven experience in working with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree is required
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Certifications in business intelligence tools, data management, or analytics
- Advanced SQL skills for constructing data queries and analyzing risk strategy and collections impacts
- Proficiency with data science tools like Python to solve business problems
- Ability to work with large data sets using programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and/or Spark, enhancing analytical capabilities
