DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Provide technical guidance and direction to support business needs and its technical teams ensuring alignment with project goals and technical standards. Develop secure high-quality production code using React. Review and debug code written by others to maintain code quality and performance. Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes ensuring the use of best practices and innovative solutions. Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in React, JavaScript, and related technologies, providing insights and expertise to the team and stakeholders. Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies fostering a culture of innovation and forward-thinking. Lead evaluation sessions with internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems. Utilize experience with AWS for cloud services, MongoDB for database management, Java Spring Boot for writing APIs, and integrating these technologies into the development process as needed. Design and implement payment processing systems to secure and efficiently handle transactions in compliance with industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Developing using React.js and its ecosystem including state management libraries (Redux); using Ext JS for building interactive web applications; developing using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) to build responsive and dynamic web pages; utilizing Node.js for server-side Development; using GraphQL for efficient data querying and data manipulation; utilizing Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation; utilizing CSS Grid Layout for web design; Bootstrapping on projects to set up and configure new applications; utilizing Java Spring Boot for API development; Using MongoDB for NoSQL database management; Developing connecting, relational databases and SQL to retrieve data in UI; using AWS services for cloud computing; using CI/CD pipelines to promote code across various environments; using version control systems including bitbucket and Git to build application features; Payment processing systems and integration with third-party payment gateways.
