Description:

We are looking for a leader to take us to the next level as a Director of Architecture at JP Morgan Chase. Take the reins of the Operations Desktop Platform, driving the design and implementation of the Operations Desktop platform across the Operations products. You will make a meaningful impact at one of the world's most influential companies by partnering with Product Owners and Technical Partners across the Operations products and driving a shared platform accelerating business value delivery.

As a Director of Architecture at JPMorganChase within the Operations Product group, you lead a specific area of architecture and drive impact within products, teams, technologies, and projects across departments. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of architecture applications, processes, and product management to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives while serving as a primary decision maker for your teams and a driver of innovation to achieve the target state architecture goals.

Job responsibilities
  • Experience developing Operation/Servicing UX's
  • Experience in designing and implementing platform's that can be leveraged across multiple lines of business/products
  • Demonstrated ability to create a technology roadmap and strategy required to rollout a platform
  • Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional architecture objectives
  • Makes and is accountable for decisions that influence teams' resources, budget, tactical operations and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures
  • Conducts governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations
  • Champions the firm's culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 10+ years of progressive related experience
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design
  • Demonstrated Platform level design and Implementation
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization (Developer. Product Owner, Tech Partner, US Designers)
  • Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of architects
  • Practical cloud native experience


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience working at code level
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI in work activities
