As a Product Director in Commercial Card, your leadership role will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision across a diverse portfolio of business solutions. This leader guides a multidisciplinary team of product designers and owners, driving multi-year product planning, scaling existing offerings, and launching innovative solutions to unlock new commercial opportunities.
Central to the role is integrating products into client-centric experiences, simplifying complex processes and enabling seamless automation, optimization, and risk management. The position requires disciplined functional and global expansion, ensuring product integrity, client trust, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate operates effectively at both the strategic and tactical levels, overseeing a broad range of solutions and partnerships to deliver sustained business impact.
Job responsibilities- Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
- Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
- Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
- Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
- Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Serve as the senior product executive in strategic client engagements, translating complex client payable priorities into tailored multi-rail solution configurations; partner closely with internal senior-level product, strategy, and sales stakeholders to align go-to-market execution with product capabilities; manage external partner relationships to expand network reach and solution differentiation
- Organizational Leadership & Change Management: Lead and grow a high-performing product management organization through periods of significant change and expansion; attract, develop, and retain top product talent; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, data-driven decision making, and client-centricity
- Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
- Progressive product management leadership experience, including building and scaling product organizations
- Demonstrated track record of successful new product launches and scaling products to significant revenue
- Experience leading multi-rail or multi-product payment platforms
- Strong command of product requirement definition, agile delivery methodologies, and cross-functional execution
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills
