As a Risk Control Associate within the Network Performance Management team, you play a critical role in ensuring operational risk is effectively managed across our network of agent banks and financial market infrastructures. You will work closely with both internal partners and external providers to proactively identify, assess, and resolve risk issues, supporting the delivery of high-quality services for our clients. Your contributions will help safeguard the firm's reputation and support our commitment to excellence. The Network Performance Management team supports multiple lines of business, including Markets, Securities Services, Asset & Wealth Management, and Commercial Banking. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals across global markets, leveraging data analysis and service reviews to enhance performance and mitigate risk. Our team is dedicated to continuous improvement and provides coverage across a wide range of products and services.
Job responsibilities - Proactively identify and assess operational risks related to service providers and agent banks
- Manage escalations and drive resolution of service issues across operational teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external providers and internal partners
- Conduct service reviews and accurately assess risk, ensuring delivery of high-quality reports
- Utilize thematic data analysis to improve provider performance through service scorecards
- Ensure service level agreements are met and aligned with business requirements
- Lead incident and crisis management, including external engagement and remediation
- Support enhancements in processes, controls, and systems to strengthen risk management
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both written and verbal
- Contribute to a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement
- Maintain accountability for investigation and resolution of escalated enquiries
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Strong operational knowledge related to markets and/or securities services businesses
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage a large book of work
- Proven aptitude for risk management, compliance, and oversight
- Ability to escalate issues quickly and appropriately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Knowledge of global markets and cross-border operations
- Professional certifications in risk management or related fields
