As part a Vice President within the Cross Alternatives Platform Operations group, will play a pivotal role in managing how investment data supports portfolio construction, trade processing, and performance analytics. Giving you the opportunity to expand across other alternative strategies as the platform evolves.
This is a high-impact role that blends day to day operational accountability with strategic project leadership, offering a performance driven path to become a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership while helping scale our platform. You will collaborate closely with teams across business, operations, and technology to elevate delivery and impact.
Job Responsibilities: - Manage core investment data workflows across the hedge fund of funds platform -ensuring timely and accurate set up and maintenance of fund and portfolio structures to support trade execution, portfolio transparency, and performance analytics
- Ensure daily operational execution - covering fund & portfolio lifecycle management, trade exception handling, data remediation and conducting validation checks to maintain data integrity and operational readiness
- Drive strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing processes, strengthening data governance and enhancing operational scalability to support a fast-growing, high-complexity business
- Shape the operating model's evolution, working with business, operations, and technology to define processes that scale intelligently and reliably.
- Elevate operational effectiveness by introducing process improvements and automation solutions to enhance workflows and reduce manual touchpoints
- Partner with a broad network of stakeholders-including portfolio managers, middle office, technology, and data strategy teams-to design and deploy solutions aligned with business priorities
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Ten or more years of hands-on experience in investment operations, data operations or adjacent function within the hedge fund of funds or alternative investments space
- At least seven years of experience leading teams or serving in a senior supervisory role with a demonstrated ability to coach, guide and elevate team performance
- Proven track record of leading and executing complex operational and/or strategic initiatives, with the ability to connect dots across functions and drive meaningful change
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate nuanced stakeholder discussions and engage credibly with senior leadership
- Strong relationship management skills and experience working cross-functionally
- Versatility to toggle between strategic thinking and hands on execution, with a mindset oriented toward continuous improvement and innovation
- Experience leveraging automation or AI-driven tools to assess and optimize workflows
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Broader exposure to alternative asset strategies, including private equity, private credit, real assets or infrastructure
Proficient with analytics and automation tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, etc. applied creatively to solve operational challenges - Project management fluency, including experience using formal PM platforms (ex. Microsoft Project, Monday.com, etc.)
- Highly adept at crafting executive level presentations
