As a Vice President Product Manager in the Corporate Compliance team, you will serve as an Area Product Lead, directing customer-focused initiatives and guiding a team of Product Analysts. You own the product vision and roadmap for your assigned initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams to drive delivery, and translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements. Job responsibilities: - Direct customer-focused initiatives end-to-end, setting timelines, overseeing delivery, and coordinating operational readiness tasks for successful go-live
- Coach, mentor, and develop Product Analysts, elevating the quality of requirements documentation and epic composition across the team
- Define and refine the product vision and roadmap for assigned initiatives, organizing priorities around strategic themes and measurable outcomes aligned with long-term business objectives
- Engage directly with end users and stakeholders to validate assumptions, understand pain points, and inform product decisions with the voice of the customer
- Lead user story mapping and translate business needs into clear, outcome-focused epics with detailed acceptance criteria, facilitating refinement sessions to ensure clarity and feasibility
- Perform quality reviews of epics and requirements, establishing benchmarks and promoting strong documentation standards and tooling practices
- Own prioritization frameworks, make data-informed trade-off recommendations, facilitate retrospectives, and lead large-scale working groups across multiple concurrent projects
- Develop and present updates to senior leadership, articulating the rationale behind product decisions and translating complex trade-offs into clear, actionable narratives
- Conduct deep analysis of user behavior, requirements, and product performance using metrics, research, and advanced analytical techniques to generate insights and drive strategy
- Manage and organize large datasets across multiple repositories, applying data standardization, cleansing, and transformation techniques to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Partner with Engineering, User Experience, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to align product development with business objectives, define performance metrics, and leverage firm-approved tools to optimize workflows and drive innovation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - 5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience leading product initiatives and mentoring junior team members
- Strong ability to translate business strategy into detailed functional requirements and outcome-focused documentation
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, including backlog management and sprint planning
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, influence without direct authority, and present complex information to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform product decisions and prioritization
- Experience managing and transforming large, complex datasets from multiple sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Experience writing acceptance criteria in Behavior-Driven Development formats (e.g., Given/When/Then)
- Familiarity with predictive modeling, gap analysis, or trend analysis techniques
- Experience with large language model tools or AI-assisted workflows to enhance productivity
- Background in financial services or a similarly regulated industry
- Experience facilitating product lifecycle events and coordinating cross-functional delivery across multiple workstreams
