Join the Compensation team as a Compensation Associate supporting Asset and Wealth Management!
As a Compensation Associate within the Asset and Wealth Management line of business, you will be instrumental in supporting the compensation strategy and its execution. Your role will involve the development and implementation of compensation programs, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices within the organization. You will be responsible for analyzing salary data, preparing reports, and assisting in the administration of salary reviews and incentive plans, all aimed at attracting and retaining top talent. Collaborating with HR Business Advisors, you will handle compensation actions for employees, administer and coordinate annual compensation planning processes, and analyze and report on internal and external market compensation data.
Job Responsibilities: - Assist with planning and administrative tasks for our annual compensation processes, working with different business lines and HR and Finance teams
- Provide support on compensation activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, and budget planning
- Analyze the market compensation data to support our needs
- Support projects related to compensation, including policy reviews and system updates.
- Become an expert in our compensation reporting tools to help deliver accurate reports and insights
- Bring fresh ideas to improve our compensation programs and ensure they align with our business strategy
- Contribute to the Asset Management Compensation Agenda, including region-specific activities
Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Good data management skills and a basic understanding of how large organizations work
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel (knowledge of Pivot Tables, IF statements, XLOOKUPs)
- Attention to detail and ability to tell a story through data analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a creative approach to HR/Compensation strategies
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and constantly evolving environment; ability to problem solve independently, perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities and cultivate strong partnerships
- Ability to execute and sustain operational excellence incorporating appropriate controls
- Some experience in HR/Compensation or Finance, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Familiarity with PeopleSoft and experience with Business Objects, Alteryx and Python
- Previous experience in the financial services industry.
