As a Testing Associate in Connected Commerce, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business testing function, including defining strategies and approaches for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring code readiness aligns with business requirements, test planning and execution, along with functional, end-to-end, and regression testing. You will also collaborate with Risk and Technology teams to ensure business processes and user interactions function as intended, effectively minimizing post-launch risks.
Job Responsibilities: - Understanding the intent of a business requirement
- Formulating test approach and test plan and detailing the dependencies and risk involved
- Executing a business scenario in UAT environment
- Partnering and collaborating with stakeholders for clarifying queries and sharing the testing status
- Ensuring testing artifacts are updated and saved as appropriate
- Reconcile test results with expected results
- Incorporate process enhancements related to tools and practices to unlock greater efficiencies and effectiveness
- Partner with UAT Manager/Lead to ensure that testing readiness and testing execution milestones are completed
- Being responsible for helping to facilitate the quality testing practices in support of various products
- Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders and ensure ongoing updates on Automation objectives
- Being responsible for assessing, creating and building automation tools for gaining efficiency or cost reduction
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: - Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing along with formulating test plans and approach, test scenarios and test scripts
- Experience in JIRA process, understanding of the process flow and creation of the task
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Confluence, qTest tool
- Writing and executing queries in SQL
- Knowledge in Unix operating system
- Experience with Agile and waterfall software development methodologies
- Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communications. Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships
- Intellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quickly. High degree of initiative, self-direction, and ability to work well under pressure
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: - Experience with mainframe screens, business rules engines
- Understanding of credit card lifecycle and cards transactions processing
- Experience with risk processing
