INVISTA is seeking a Plant Manager at our Seaford, DE facility, to join our leading industry team. Our Team

Reporting to the Vice President of Nylon Downstream Operations, the Plant Manager will focus on building site capability by setting vision, strategy, and aligning priorities to achieve operational excellence and deliver superior business results. The Plant Manager is supported by the Site Leadership Team consisting of the Operations, Reliability, Maintenance and Technical Managers.

Since 1939, the INVISTA Performance Solutions Seaford site continues to be a world class manufacturing facility with ~ 135 employees, which manufactures Nylon 6, 6 staple fiber. The site primarily supports INVISTA's nylon fibers business, producing materials for military uniforms, flame-resistant workwear, and industrial applications like press felts for paper manufacturing.

  • Partner for Business Impact: Collaborate with commercial and functional leaders aligning operations strategies to business priorities and objectives, delivering measurable results.
  • Enhance Operations & Asset Reliability: Lead operational, asset health, reliability and maintenance strategies to deliver stable and reliable operations.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply lean concepts, foster disciplined use of systems for learning, and quality execution 'right the first time' to optimize efficiency and eliminate waste. Enable employees to act and contribute through a bottom-up solution philosophy while recognizing and rewarding individual and team contributions.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Demonstrated manufacturing leadership experience with direct reports in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading integrated teams to identify and capture strategic business improvement opportunities
  • Experience leading transformational improvement strategies through people, process and technology innovations


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical or business discipline
  • Military service experience particularly in leadership or operational environments
  • Experience in high performance safety and/or quality critical industries
