Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Day Supervisor to join our Specialty Ingredients G.P Business at our Wilmington, DE. This position will report to Plant Manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, environmental procedures and guidelines
• Supervise shift operations, provide guidance to shift leads.
• Oversee Planning and Logistics activities.
• Manage product workflow from raw material receiving to product shipment.
• Managing the workflow of employees, creating team schedules
• Perform all necessary SAP transactions

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• SAP experience
• Demonstrates good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Must possess a high level of mechanical aptitude
• Ability to clearly record observations in a written form
• Ability to follow and complete written directions
• Need to be able to work around strong magnets

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

• GMP or Chemical Manufacturing experience
• Fork lift experience
• General Computer experience
