What you will do
The Procurement Project Manager, Innovation will lead the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Innovation Program's project schedule, keep track of the associated activities, coordinate top supplier engagement and help drive milestones to completion. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a successful track record of delivering project outcomes on time in an organized manner.
Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Sr. Director Procurement - NPD, R& D & SRM, this associate will own the following key responsibilities as it relates to the SRM and Outside-In Innovation Program:
• Manage the cross functional SRM engagement schedule, keep track of the overall commitments with our top suppliers, works collaboratively with stakeholders to reinforce accountability
• Coordinate and lead SRM and External Innovation meetings with program leads.
• Stay current on supplier innovation proposals across all procurement categories and track feedback from internal stakeholders
• Assists with the preparation and standardization of deliverables that include information, presentations and status reports pertaining to all active, upcoming and projected outcomes
• Provide status updates to procurement leaders and functional business partners
• Gather, analyze and benchmark industry and market data to provide the program with insights that would facilitate continuous improvement
• Monitor and improve the overall performance of the SRM procurement team following OKRs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure procurement processes are optimized.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, procedures and performance standards.
• Ability to analyze market trends, should-cost models and pricing to make informed decisions.
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience working at a FMCG company within product development or innovation
Desired Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in procurement
• Advanced skills in procurement processes and procedures.
• Experience in driving innovation and implementing new procurement strategies.
• Experience in managing global procurement operations.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Experience in managing procurement budgets and forecasting procurement needs.
• Ability to identify and mitigate procurement risks.
