Primary responsibilities encompass maintaining, monitoring and reporting for the MissionSquare Retirement Corporate Portfolio (“Portfolio”). Research, invest and manage the Center for Public Administration and Services Inc. (CPAS) investments per Investment Policy. Assess products and services of the SymPro Investment Management system for technology advancement to benefit the Portfolio.

Essential Functions for this role include:

  • Ensure daily compliance with internal policies and procedures for Portfolio including subadvisors and CPAS, while managing CPAS cash levels and investments in accordance with investment policy.
  • Assess and prepare corporate cash flow forecast for monthly reporting.
  • Produce timely and accurate reports related to the Portfolio.
  • Fully utilize, manage, maintain and serve as the administrator of the SymPro Investment Management system.
  • When appropriate, support operating units by processing daily wire approval for participant and employer activity.
  • Assist in preparing and managing investment and dividend income forecasts pertaining to the Portfolio on an annual & semi-annual basis.
  • Assist in preparing and managing the annual expense budget.
  • Work closely with Director of Treasury and Risk Management Services and custodian bank to incorporate alternative investment types (e.g. Private Equity, Direct Lending, Venture Capital) for the Portfolio.
  • Assist with external/internal auditing questioning/inquiries as they pertain to the Corporate Portfolio.
  • Maintain relationships with other departments within MissionSquare, especially Corporate Accounting to give and receive investment data.
  • Maintain relationships with external subadvisors for Corporate Portfolio

If you have the following skills, we encourage you to apply:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of treasury and investing experience; financial institution

  • Mutual fund and/or investment company experience required

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Ability to delegate assignments daily
  • Keen interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of investments, financial and Treasury concepts and terminology
  • Microsoft Suite power user with particular emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint
  • Skilled in utilizing Power BI (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Investments (stocks, bonds, treasuries, ETFs, alternative securities, etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
