As a Director of Training, you’re not just leading the hotel’s training and professional development function – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.


Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Lead training strategy and development: Oversee the creation and implementation of hotel and corporate training and professional development programs and annual training calendar, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and industry standards
  • Support business needs: Lead strategic meetings with department managers, property trainers, and team members to review performance trends, identify training needs, and develop action plans to support specific department goals
  • Drive continuous improvement: Assess the success of training programs by measuring learning outcomes and identifying areas for improvement, ensuring training programs deliver measurable value
  • Ensure compliance with training requirements: Oversee the tracking, maintenance, and auditing of team member training records to ensure full compliance with corporate standards
  • Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
