The iconic Washington Hilton is looking for their next Cook III to join their culinary team! Find this 1, 000+ room historic hotel within blocks of Dupont Circle, boasting four different dining options and over 118, 000 square footage of event space!

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of line cook experience in a full-service restaurant, either standalone or within a hotel. There is an emphasis on knife skills and food safety for this position!

Shift Pattern: variable with mix of AM and PM shifts - weekday/weekend/holiday availability required

Pay Range: $21.89 - 29.08 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Cook III, you would be responsible for preparing, maintaining and monitoring quality control for cold food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Prepare cold food items including, but not limited to, salads, fruits, dressings, fish items and appetizers, according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
  • Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and food products
  • Stock and maintain designated food stations(s)
  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
