Description:

The Special Assistant & Business Manager works closely with and supports the Chief Creative Officer of the Creative Services Division (CSD). The position will have an immediate impact on productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing finance, contracting, and program management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, with a special focus on relationship and project management over finance/procurement, legal, and vendors/external partners, as well as advising and interdepartmental collaboration.

The candidate will be exposed to a wide range of responsibilities, assisting on special projects, reports, meetings, new initiatives, division communication, office processes and scheduling. This will include sensitive and critical judgment calls, serving as a sounding board for the executive in important situations.

Additionally, will provide extensive project management support for the content including online platform GATHER by Events DC. This candidate will serve as a liaison for partners across the company related to finance, procurement, and legal, as well as external vendors.
