Expert OFR – OAM

Location: GSC Bogotá

The Expert OFR – OAM is responsible for managing Ocean Freight (OFR) operations throughout the full end‑to‑end process. This role requires flexibility to handle the complete operational flow or specific parts of it, depending on the business needs. Previous end‑to‑end experience is considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full OFR end‑to‑end process, from origin to final delivery to the customer.
• Monitor shipment operations, handle documentation, and ensure accurate status updates.
• Perform costing and billing, ensuring accuracy in charges and validations.
• Manage operational claims and provide support for clarifications with origin or vendors.
• Ensure compliance with KPIs, timelines, milestones, and customer/business requirements.
• Maintain strong customer service standards through clear and timely communication.
• Use CargoWise as a system tool (considered a plus).

Profile Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Last‑semester students may be considered as an exception.

Must Have

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in OFR‑related activities.
• Experience in functions related to ocean freight (not necessarily in freight forwarding).
• Experience identifying documentation errors between origin and destination.

Technical Skills

• English level B2.
• Knowledge of Incoterms.
• Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel.

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Operational maturity and sound decision‑making.
• Ability to work under pressure in complex operational environments.
• High adaptability and proactive approach to process management.
