This position is located in the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) within the Operations Division at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

The OCDO leads the development of the Bureau's data strategy and is responsible for developing enterprise-wide policies, data products, and guidance to facilitate compliance, inform decision-making, and effectively manage the use, sharing, and protection of Bureau data assets across the data lifecycle.

Responsibilities

As an Data Catalog Analyst, you will:
  • Serve as an expert for CFPB's data catalog tool, including system functionality, business functionality, and various use cases across the bureau. Serve as the system administrator of the data catalog tool on behalf of the CFPB.
  • Develop and review guidance regarding processes to support the use and administration of the data catalog tool and other related software.
  • Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Project Manager for new system updates, acquisitions, and implementations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
