Your day-to-day:

Key Responsibilities
Revenue Optimization
Support the Director of Revenue in managing room inventory to maximize occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and total room revenue.
Analyze booking patterns and market demand to support dynamic pricing and inventory control strategies.
System Management
Oversee the accuracy and maintenance of the reservation systems in line with corporate standards.
Ensure all rates, availability, and booking configurations are correctly loaded and regularly updated.
Team Leadership
Lead and supervise the Reservations team to ensure smooth and efficient departmental operations.
Provide training, set performance goals, and conduct regular coaching and evaluations.
Continuously improve daily workflows to enhance departmental productivity and service quality.
Guest Relations
Handle guest inquiries, process bookings, and resolve complaints to ensure excellent guest satisfaction throughout the reservation process.
Market Intelligence
Assist in monitoring competitor performance and market trends to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.
Provide insights to support strategic decisions on pricing and distribution.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and analyze reservation and revenue reports, booking pace data, and performance metrics to support business planning and decision-making.
Specific Operational Duties
Manage daily reservations, ensuring accuracy, compliance with rate strategies, and timely system updates.
Monitor booking pace across all market segments and recommend actions to optimize performance.
Supervise the processing of travel agent commissions, client correspondence, and group reservations.
Maintain and drive an internal up-selling program within the team.
Schedule team shifts effectively to balance productivity and cost-efficiency.
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews of team members.
Track and follow up on lost business, proposing strategies to convert future opportunities.
Stay informed on competitor offerings, pricing, and market positioning to maintain a competitive edge.

What we need from you:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar capacity with international chain hotels
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Prior experience with Opera PMS system
