Job Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join the Janssen Ireland Brand team working within our Immunology portfolio - based in the Janssen Dublin office.

Role Responsibility

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in maximising Sales & Profit of the Brand for the appropriate time in the Brand's Lifecycle by communicating a vision for the product that inspires both internal and external customers, and to provide on-going marketing support to meet company targets and grow brand revenue.

Key Role Activities:

Develop Product Strategic Plan

• Develop, implement, and execute the strategic plan for the brand.

Production & Execution of Tactical Business Plan

• Leadership of the Integrated Brand Team and collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Commission market research through external preferred market research provider.

• Analyse primary & secondary market research and business intelligence.

• Use CRM tools to implement CRM strategy and capture and use market information.

• Communicate issues with key stakeholders via verbal and written communication and business meetings.

• Brainstorm solutions and tactics.

• Define brand tactical objectives.

• Produce critical success factors.

• Define key tactics to achieve success.

• Determine targeting and segmentation strategy.

• Present tactical plan to management and sales teams as required.

Metric Setting & Monitoring

• Define brand metrics around specific marketing projects and monitor taking appropriate action.

• Optimally manage the marketing budget to avoid under/overspend and phase spend effectively. Analyse sales data to compare to forecast and adjust where necessary with support of relevant functions.

• Track market trends and propose appropriate actions to address issues.

• Develop and project manage sales and marketing materials, promotional materials and marketing and communications campaigns by liaising with creative agencies/PR and Promo material companies.

Implementation & Sales Force Communication

• Liaise with Med Affairs to ensure all marketing activities and materials comply with current relevant guidelines.

• Plan marketing mix to optimise all available channels from budget and message perspective identify and propose additional channel strategies and tactics.

• Sales Force Communication: Produce a clear direction for the Brand by sharing strategic & tactical plans for the Brand with Sales force & secure their buy in.

• Effective communication to sales and sales management via verbal and written communication and business meetings. Contribute to product training and conferences as subject matter expert.

• Allocate promotional material to the Field Force and effectively manage inventory.

• Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders by visiting them in the field.

• Identify and develop partnership programmes with KOLs.

• Manage product and line extension launches.

Key Compliance Requirements

• Complete all required compliance training including HCC, Drug Safety & product quality complaints within the guidelines set in the Foundation Programme SOP for new starters and annually thereafter.

• Compliance: Complete annual Drug Safety and HCC Awareness training.

• Report Adverse Events and complaints in a timely way to Drug Safety according to current Adverse Event Reporting guidelines/SOP and to maintain Regulatory compliance Acts in accordance with Johnson & Johnson HCC requirements if interacting with Healthcare Professionals.

• If commissioning contractors or third-party organisations, put contracts in place and provide training so that these individuals also act in accordance with Johnson & Johnson HCC requirements when interacting with Healthcare Professionals and report adverse events and complaints (as above). Complies with designated SOP's for the role. Qualifications:

• Degree in Science, Marketing or General Business Degree with previous experience in marketing role, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Market though not essential.

• Demonstrated track record o f taking the lead on marketing projects and delivering strategy.

• Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate cross functional team.

• Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluent English essential.
