Clinical Lead

What you’ll achieve

As a Clinical Lead you will drive our product strategy and ensure clinical excellence across our solutions. The role combines clinical expertise with strategic vision to shape our healthcare IT offerings and ensure to meet the evolving needs of providers and patients.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Serve as the primary clinical expert within the company in Ireland, providing guidance and insights on healthcare industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Work closely with the product development team to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure that our software solutions meet the needs of healthcare providers and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Engage with key customers and stakeholders to understand their challenges, gather feedback on our products and services, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Represent the company as a thought leader in the healthcare IT industry in ireland, participating in conferences, webinars, and other events, and contributing to industry publications and forums.
  • Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and standards, ensuring that our software solutions comply with all relevant requirements for Ireland.
  • Collaborate effectively with UKI wider team, CCIO and other cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor the performance of our healthcare software products and services, tracking key metrics and KPIs, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Essential Requirements

  • Medical Degree or equivalent clinical qualification
  • Extensive experience in a clinical leadership role, such as Medical Officer or Nursing Officer
  • Solid understanding of healthcare IT systems and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards a common goal
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA, HITECH, and Meaningful Use

Desirable Requirements

  • Board certification in a clinical specialty
  • Experience working for a software services company or healthcare technology vendor
  • Knowledge of Irish HSE systems and requirements
  • Experience with clinical safety processes and standards
