Job Title: Compliance Support Specialist

Location: Southbury, Connecticut - Full-Time On-Site Position

Job Overview:

Premier Financial Services is seeking a Compliance Support Specialist to lead and evolve our administrative and compliance operations across the organization. Acting as a central figure for operational integrity, this role helps ensure adherence to regulatory, vendor, and audit requirements. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of compliance frameworks, internal controls, and audit preparation, while actively driving improvements in processes, systems, and vendor oversight. Reporting to the Director of Business Operations, this position will require travel and cross company support to our sister company, Motorlease, located in Farmington, CT.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Audit Readiness

  • Serve as the organization’s lead on operational compliance activities, acting as liaison between departments and auditors.
  • Lead the preparation for internal and external audits, including managing documentation requests and remediation of audit findings.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment on compliance protocols and help promote a culture of proactive risk management.
  • Help maintain and update standard operating procedures, policies, and administrative frameworks across both organizations.
  • Partner with control owners across the businesses to develop user access and entity-level controls.

Vendor Management

  • This position serves as the primary point of all administrative needs related to all vendors for both companies.

  • Coordinate paperwork for vendor management team, track renewals, and compliance for vendors. Submit paperwork to legal for review, gathering appropriate approvals/signatures and file all paperwork accordingly.

  • Gather all documents needed for yearly review.

  • Implement tools or processes to automate and streamline recurring admin tasks where possible.

  • Coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals for vendor contracts and agreements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in operations, compliance, or audit-related roles, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Understanding of audit processes, internal controls, and compliance best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage documentation workflows.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate regulatory language into practical application.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and process automation tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
