Description:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing for hotel destinations, exceptional communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality industry. This role will focus on enhancing brand awareness, increasing occupancy rates, and driving revenue growth. Travel required. The ideal candidate will live within travel distance to Jekyll Island, GA. While role may expand to other locations in the future, it will be largely concentrated in this area. Initial frequent travel to the location to familiarize with market, is a requirement.

Salary range: $75, 000 - $80, 000 based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to drive bookings, increase revenue, and enhance brand recognition across multiple properties in the Jekyll Island market.
Digital Marketing Management:
- Manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and content marketing to maximize online presence and engagement.
Collaboration and Promotions:
- Collaborate with the property teams to create targeted promotions and marketing campaigns tailored to the Jekyll Island audience.
Public Relations and Outreach:
- Oversee public relations efforts, including media outreach, press releases, and establishing relationships with influencers, travel bloggers, and industry partners.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities, providing actionable insights for improvement.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for enhancement and optimization.
Creative Development:
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, and agencies to create compelling marketing materials that resonate with the target audience.
Event Planning and Partnerships:
- Plan and execute hotel events, sponsorships, and partnerships to boost brand exposure and community involvement.
Brand Consistency:
- Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and guest experience across all marketing channels.
Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing budget, implementing cost-effective strategies and measuring ROI.
Food & Beverage Oversight:
- Provide oversight and strategic input for F& B marketing initiatives.
Local Engagement:
- Engage in marketing activities associated with special events on Jekyll Island, including social media management and public relations with local bloggers and writers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in marketing within the hospitality industry, preferably with a focus on hotel destinations.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel regularly to Jekyll Island to work with the hotels and partners in the area.
- Previous agency experience is a plus.
