The Product Management team supports the growth of Coherent's Specialty Fiber business by defining products, managing their lifecycle, and ensuring accurate technical information is available to customers.
This East Granby, CT internship offers hands-on experience improving product content on the company webstore using AI-assisted tools while working closely with product management, marketing, and IT teams
Primary Duties & Responsibilities- improve the quality, completeness, and structure of product information on the company web store for Specialty Fiber products
- Utilize AI-enabled tools, spreadsheets, and internal product documentation systems to generate and organize product descriptions, specifications, and supporting content
- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and IT teams to collect product data, update webstore content, and ensure lifecycle accuracy of listed products
- Prepare a final presentation and summary report outlining improvements implemented, key findings from the webstore audit, and recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
Education & Experience- Education Level Required: Associate's /Bachelor's / Master's
- Majors: Marketing, Data Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering
- Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience in Data analytics, Digital marketing or Product management] is a plus. Including tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Notion AI, or similar tools
- Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.

- Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
- Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and time management.
Additional Information - Internship Duration: 10 - 14 weeks.

Working Conditions- This role will be based on-site in East Granby, CT
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary.
Physical Requirements- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
