JOB DESCRIPTION

A Data Analyst Intern on the Cohort Modeling Team within Global Analytics supports the development and analysis of cohort-based models used to inform strategic business decisions. Responsibilities include data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, model support, and communicating insights to stakeholders using visualizations and reporting tools

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing raw data from diverse sources for cohort and modeling projects.
  • Support team members in exploratory data analysis and cohort segmentation.
  • Help build, document, and maintain cohort models and associated data assets.
  • Analyze trends and patterns in cohort performance to drive recommendations.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards using tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or custom scripts.
  • Document methodologies, processes, and results for reproducibility and auditability.
  • Present findings and actionable insights to team leads and cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate with statisticians, data scientists, and business stakeholders on analysis requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency with statistical modeling, data cleansing, and analysis (Python, SQL, R, Excel).
  • Knowledge of principles of cohort modeling and/or segmentation is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
  • Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work in teams.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with advanced statistical techniques and concepts.
  • Ability to query, transform, and summarize large datasets.
  • Experience creating and presenting reports or dashboards.
