Overview:

Castleton Commodities International is an independent global commodities merchant. CCI is seeking a Cash Management Coordinator who will be responsible for all aspects of the cash management function and ensuring that the designated cash processing, reconciliation and reporting are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with CCI practice and policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Cash management operations to include daily cash administration including but not limited to cash application, proposals and bank account reconciliation
  • Monitors cash transactions to ensure that bank account balances to the report and any unusual items are investigated
  • Monitor, report, and assist in resolving unclaimed funds
  • Receives incoming wire transfers and processes outgoing wire transfers
  • Communication with treasury and members of the accounting and finance department
  • Assist with management of purchase card program
  • Assist with management of Amex card program
  • Work closely with Corporate Accounting to ensure that counterparty payments/receipts, intercompany loans, and other treasury-related activities are recorded in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assists with audit requests and queries received by Cash Management team

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a high intensity environment
  • Excellent problem solving and numerical skills; ability to seek information and interpret data from multiple sources in order to resolve problems or implement new processes
  • Ability and inclination to think critically, identify problems and propose solutions.
  • Highest level of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability and desire to work in a team-centered environment
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and high-intensity environment including open-floor plan if applicable to the position, with timely responsiveness and the ability to work beyond normal business hours when required.


Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SAP
  • 1-3 years accounting experience
