Description:
POSITION SUMMARY RFS Technologies seeks a Manufacturing Electrician to support first & second- shift support for the facility. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role supports safe, reliable plant operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and production machinery Troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and components Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and facility electrical projects Support equipment reliability and uptime initiatives Ensure compliance with OSHA, and company safety policies Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience Strong knowledge of 3-phase power, control circuits, and industrial automation Ability to use electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.) Ability to work independently and respond to production priorities Exposure to PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and automation systems EDUCATION Electrical License required per State of CT requirements Technical or trade school preferred OSHA 10/30 safety training required
