THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Product Operations Intern at Xactly Corporation, you'll collect, analyze, and interpret data related to our products to provide valuable insights that contribute to our ability to build and deliver world class solutions to our customers. As part of these efforts, you'll gain knowledge of how Xactly incorporates data into its decision-making process and ensures its decisions are yielding the desired results.

THE TEAM:

Product Operations enables Xactly's R& D and other cross-functional teams to build and deliver world class solutions to its customers while operating efficiently at scale. The key outcomes delivered are:
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Collect, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative product data to better connect product decisions with overall business strategy.
  • Operational Efficiency: Improve operational efficiency by allowing R& D to focus on building world class products and solutions.
  • Predictability & Visibility: Bring predictability and visibility with well-defined, cross-functional product release and launch processes.
  • Organizational Enablement: Enable the organization to sell, implement, and support product capabilities as effectively and as early as possible.


SKILL SET / QUALIFICATIONS
  • Working towards a bachelor's degree with a graduation date between May 2024 - May, 2026.
  • Desire to pursue a career in Product Operations or analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in SQL and the use of databases
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators and establish data collection methods.
  • Design and implement data collection processes to ensure accurate and comprehensive data capture.
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations to improve product features and user experience.
  • Generate reports and dashboards on a regular cadence that effectively communicate key performance indicators related to our products.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in data collection and analysis.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating data insights into actionable recommendations.


WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU'LL
  • Get your bearings and begin to build a strong foundation upon which to grow
  • Build relationships with internal business partners including Product Management, Engineering, Information Technology, and Customer Success
  • Gain a strong understanding of the revenue intelligence space and the business challenges Xactly solves
  • Develop a high-level initial charter for your core summer project


WITHIN TWO MONTHS, YOU'LL
  • Be immersed in the Product Operations team and Xactly culture
  • Surface, organize, and analyze product related data in a thoughtful way to enable the organization to make data-driven decisions.
  • Take a deep dive into your chosen project (or projects) and start working towards your internship-end deliverables.


BY THE END OF YOUR INTERNSHIP, YOU'LL
  • Package your efforts into a polished deliverable to add to your portfolio


The compensation range is specific to the United States and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. A reasonable estimate of the range is $XX - $XX per hour.

The compensation range is specific to the United States and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. A reasonable estimate of the range is $22.30 per hour.

Applications will be accepted only for those currently residing in the posted country for this role. There is no expectation of approval for an international relocation for this job.
