Compensation Range: $30.00 - $35.00 Hourly Rate
Job Description Summary: Communicate with clients and contractors in a professional manner, assigning tasks, making sure carpentry jobs are completed in due time and ensure work is performed according to Swinerton standards. Discipline, mentor and monitor performance of employees. Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed.
Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: - Provide leadership and expertise in concrete formwork and structural carpentry
- Review project plans and blueprints to estimate time, materials, equipment, and labor needs
- Develop daily and weekly work schedules; assign and oversee crew tasks
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations and crew performance
- Monitor material and equipment inventory; submit requests as needed
- Calculate concrete quantities based on plan specifications
- Ensure pour areas are properly prepped, formed, and inspected prior to placement
- Monitor correct placement of rebar, mesh, block-outs, embeds, and sleeves
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained, cleaned, and in good working order
- Protect work areas and pours from weather conditions as required
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized jobsite work areas
- Anticipate and resolve issues proactively to minimize downtime or rework
- Ensure work meets Swinerton quality standards and is completed on schedule
- Mentor, discipline, and monitor performance of crew members
- Enter daily crew time in Exaktime (Swinerton's timekeeping system)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience: - 3-5+ years of experience as a Concrete Carpenter Foreman or similar role
- Strong knowledge of formwork systems, rebar placement, layout, and structural concrete processes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout plans
- Familiar with proper concrete mix use for structural applications (no finishing)
- Capable of lifting/pulling 50-100 lbs, climbing ladders, and working at heights
- Ability to maintain a standing position for long periods and perform physical labor
- Basic computer skills for timekeeping and reporting
- Able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Strong communication, leadership, and crew management skills

Base [salary/pay] range for this role are listed below:
$35.00-$37.00
