We are currently seeking an experienced Sr. Private Client Relationship Manager to join our Personal Lines team. In this role, you will manage a high-value personal lines book of business, serve as a trusted advisor to clients, and collaborate closely with internal teams to provide exceptional service and strategic risk guidance.

Position Overview

The Sr. Private Client Relationship Manager will own and manage a personal lines book of business while serving as a strategic partner to clients. This role plays an important part in supporting client retention, guiding renewal strategies, and identifying opportunities for growth within existing relationships.

You will also collaborate with producers and internal team members to deliver thoughtful coverage solutions and ensure an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage and service a Private Client personal lines book of business.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and vendors.

  • Guide clients through complex policy renewals and insurance program reviews.

  • Analyze insurance programs and provide strategic coverage recommendations.

  • Partner with Producers, Risk Managers, and Assistant Relationship Managers to support client needs and market strategies.

  • Identify opportunities for account rounding, cross-selling, and organic growth.

  • Prepare renewal documentation, summaries, and coverage comparisons while ensuring accuracy within the agency management system.

  • Delegate administrative tasks appropriately to support team efficiency.

  • Stay informed on market trends, carrier updates, and industry best practices.

  • Provide exceptional client service while ensuring deadlines and service standards are met.

  • Support additional responsibilities as needed to contribute to team and organizational success.

Qualifications

  • Valid Property & Casualty License

  • 8+ years of personal lines client service experience, preferably with high-net-worth or complex accounts

  • Insurance industry designations preferred (CIC, CISR, ARM, AAI, or similar)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Personal insurance coverages

    • Underwriting practices

    • Insurance marketplace trends

  • Experience with Applied Epic and Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment

This role is primarily performed in an office or remote work environment. While performing job duties, employees may regularly sit, use a computer, and communicate with clients and colleagues.

Occasional travel may be required as business needs arise.
