What to Expect: - Patient Care: Assist the Staff Occupational Therapist with patient-related activities and direct patient care.
- Documentation: Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes as required.
- Collaboration: Communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress and plans.
- Training: Assist the nursing department with training Restorative Aides.
- Family Support: Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training for discharge preparation.
- Maintenance: Help with cleaning and maintaining the treatment area and report any equipment issues.

Successful Candidates: - Licensed Professional: Must be currently registered/licensed in the applicable state and maintain an active license in good standing.
- Qualified Candidate: Graduate of an accredited 2-year college-level program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- CPR Certified: Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain it during orientation and keep it current throughout employment.
