This is a full-time in office position working 40 hours a week, hours Monday-Friday 8: 00am – 5: 00pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Build member relationships that deliver value and demonstrate that we care
- Ability to read and comprehend Mortgage F1003, and credit bureau reports
- Process loan applications and collect required documents for mortgage loans
- Review all applicable mortgage documentation to comply with federal guidelines
- Understand and manage mortgage loan deadlines to ensure purchase contract compliance
- Ensure all necessary disclosures (State, Federal and company specific) are provided to client within defined timelines
- Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, sales manager and assigned MLO
- Meet with borrowers to collect and analyze their information regarding income, assets, debt in order to advise regarding different and detailed loan programs and requirements and conduct meeting for any follow up items needed.
- Assist loan officers in developing and maintaining relationships with borrowers, realtors, builders, financial planners and other referral sources.
- Liaison with processing department as needed to assist in obtaining documentation necessary for final loan approval
- Provide continuing counsel and customer service to borrower throughout the entire loan process
- Understand residential appraisal reports
- Familiar with TRID guidelines (Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure)
- Provide excellent member service and/or facilitates product sales through various channels. Deepens member relationships through needs assessment and solution offerings from PMCU products and services
- Support and participate in our Community Outreach programs
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and corporate policies/procedures
- Responsible for related functions as required or assigned
- Strive to present oneself in a professional manner in all interactions and communications while displaying the highest levels of quality, honesty, integrity, confidentiality
- Work with team members, management, departments, and business partners to promote excellent member service that is focused on providing prompt, accurate and positive member experience
- Accountable for day to day interactions between members, coworkers, managers, and volunteers
- Process various transactions when required
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Exercise good judgment when seeking guidance, support, and/or direction
- Maintain member and Credit Union privacy, security and confidentiality
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2 + years financial experience with a minimum of one year of mortgage lending experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to type 50-55 WPM with a 97% accuracy rate.
- Excellent communication and member service skills
- Understanding of regulatory and legal requirements
- Have familiarity with conventional and government mortgage loan programs (FHA/VA/USDA) and guidelines
- Have knowledge and familiarity with the Encompass Loan Origination System, Symitar Core Operating System or equivalent
- Ability to pass Colorado Notary Certification program and STAMP Program
- Excellent problem solving and computer skills
