NOBO Denver, Cultivation is hiring a Inventory Manager (CO) in Commerce City, CO. This is a full-time position.

Inventory Manager Cannabis Production & Distribution Location: Colorado (Production Facility + Multi-Site Support) Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried Reports To: Director of Cultivation Position Summary The Inventory Manager serves as the operational air traffic controller of the production facilityowning the movement, accuracy, compliance, and distribution of all cannabis inventory across cultivation, processing, retail, and wholesale channels. This role is responsible for ensuring 100% METRC compliance, seamless execution within Leaflink, and coordinated flow of product from intake through testing, storage, transfer, and final sale. Success in this role requires precision, urgency, and accountability. If it is not in METRC, it does not exist. Core Responsibilities 1. METRC Compliance & Inventory Control (Non-Negotiable) Maintain full compliance with Colorado MED and METRC requirements across all inventory activities Execute and audit: Package creation, splits, and adjustments Transfers (internal and external) Waste, destruction, and discrepancies Perform daily reconciliation between physical inventory, METRC, and Leaflink Lead investigation and resolution of all inventory variances Ensure audit readiness at all times (inspection-ready environment) 2. Production & Distribution Coordination (Air Traffic Control) Own the movement of inventory from: Production ? Testing ? Vault ? Retail/Wholesale Coordinate real-time product allocation between: Internal retail stores Wholesale partners Prioritize product flow based on: Sales velocity Store demand Shelf life / compliance timelines Maintain clear visibility of all inventory status (hold, testing, sellable, allocated) 3. Leaflink (ERP) Ownership & Data Integrity Manage all inventory workflows inside Leaflink and align with Metrc Ensure upon receipt of inventory/products: Accurate product cataloging Batch tracking and costing Purchase orders and fulfillment workflows have been maintained Identify and correct system discrepancies immediately 4. Lab Testing & Compliance Scheduling Schedule and coordinate all product testing with licensed labs Track: Test submissions Results turnaround times Pass/fail status and retesting needs Ensure no product moves to sale without passing compliance testing Maintain testing logs and documentation for audits 5. Transportation & Logistics Management Coordinate all internal and external transfers, including: Secure transport scheduling Manifest creation and compliance documentation Ensure chain-of-custody compliance at all times Optimize delivery routes and timing for efficiency and cost control Act as primary liaison with transport vendors 6. Inventory Forecasting & Allocation Partner with: Retail leadership Procurement Sales/Wholesale teams Forecast inventory needs based on: Sales trends, Seasonal demand (e.g., 4/20, summer markets) Promotions Ensure proper stock levels across all channels without overproduction or shortages 7. Team Leadership & Accountability Establish daily, weekly, and monthly inventory workflows: Daily spot checks Weekly cycle counts Monthly full inventory counts (mandatory) Train staff on compliance, METRC, and SOP adherence regarding inventory Enforce accountability: NO manual workarounds, NO undocumented activity 8. Audit Readiness & Reporting Maintain inspection-ready documentation at all times Support all MED inspections and internal audits Generate and present: Inventory reports Variance reports Transfer logs Identify risks and implement corrective actions proactively Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Inventory variance: < 1% tolerance (target: 0) METRC compliance violations: 0 On-time transfer execution: 100% Lab testing turnaround adherence Retail stockout frequency Audit outcomes (internal + regulatory) Qualifications Required 3+ years of inventory management experience (cannabis strongly preferred) Direct experience with METRC Experience with ERP systems (Distru, Leaflink, SAP, etc.) Strong understanding of cannabis compliance and regulatory frameworks Proven ability to manage high-volume, multi-channel inventory operations Preferred Experience in multi-state cannabis operations Familiarity with Colorado MED regulations Experience coordinating lab testing and secure transport Background in production, manufacturing, or supply chain logistics Skills & Competencies Extreme attention to detail High sense of urgency and ownership Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-compliance environments Clear communication across departments Systems-driven mindset (process > shortcuts) Work Environment & Expectations On-site role at production facility with regular interaction across locations May require occasional travel between retail and production sites Must be available during key operational windows (e.g., month-end inventory, major product launches, 4/20) Expected to maintain an inspection-ready operation at all times Compensation & Benefits Competitive salaried compensation (based on experience) Benefits package (health, PTO, etc.) Growth opportunity within a multi-state cannabis operator Final Note This is not a passive inventory role.
