We are looking for 2 part-time dietary aides to join our team

Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday: 2pm to 9pm or Friday-Monday 6am-2pm

Pay: Starting at $17.00/hr

Duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis
  • Assist in daily cleaning duties
  • Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures
  • Assure that utensils are readily available for next meal
  • Prepare and deliver snacks as instructed
  • Complete other dietary service functions assigned by the Dietary Manager


Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
  • Ensure that all food is handled safely and meets health regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents during meal times, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Support cooking staff with various tasks as needed, including food preparation and cooking assistance.
  • Follow all safety protocols while working in the kitchen environment.


Requirements:
  • Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors effectively.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with food service duties.
