We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our culinary team as a Cook. This role is essential in providing high-quality food service and ensuring that all dietary needs are met with precision and care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

• Meal preparation and cooking, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and menu planning.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to create balanced menus that cater to various dietary restrictions.
• Provide exceptional food service in a fine dining environment, ensuring that meals are presented beautifully and served promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to all food safety regulations.
• Handle food with care, demonstrating proper food handling techniques at all times.
• Support catering events by preparing and serving meals as needed.
• Utilize strong knife skills for meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepared to specification.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent service, addressing any dietary inquiries or concerns.

Experience

• Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
• Background in menu planning and fine dining service is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and general kitchen operations within the food industry.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
• Experience in catering or restaurant environments will be considered an asset.
• Culinary experience that showcases strong knife skills and meal preparation techniques is required.
