Position Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • General office duties such as typing, faxing, filing, making copies, schedule conference calls, answering phone calls and greeting guests, meeting and expense report completion, other support services as required. • Responsible for vendor setup and assisting with resolving vendor issues. • Responsible for editing, printing and distributing paperwork as required. • Act as liaison between inter-company departments and various corporate resources. • Occasional, but infrequent, overtime is anticipated and may be required. • Occasional, but infrequent, local travel is anticipated and may be required • Safety Champion - responsible for coordination, maintaining & communicate training schedules & record keeping • Develop, update and distribute various reports as required. • Commentary Drive Instructor for the area. • Responsible for Ops Info Task for the area. • Responsible for arranging meetings and trainings for the area. • Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Minimum 3 to 5 years hands-on experience working in an administrative capacity in a fast-paced office / professional environment • Knowledge of PC operations and other related database applications • Must be proficient in and have at least 3 to 5 years direct and active experience with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) • 10-key proficiency CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company insurance carrier. COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Demonstrate efficiency in writing and understanding verbal and written communications, including, but not limited to, e-mail • Must be able to interact with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism including, but not limited to, other employees, all levels of management, vendors and customers. • Demonstrate ability to speak clearly, both in person and via telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and to listen carefully • Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Office applications and database software, including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint • Must demonstrate excellent writing, oral, analytical and communication skills • Must be able to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict and simultaneous deadlines • Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rules • Must demonstrate ability to plan, organize and utilize project management skills • Must be able to work independently and function with limited supervision at times • Must be able to work autonomously as situation dictates PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time WORKING CONDITIONS: • Must maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of job performance • Must maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees and the general public • May be required to work non-traditional hours as needed as well as overtime hours.
