Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Global Supply Chain Security Senior Manager to be located regionally.
The Global Supply Chain Security Senior Manager (GSCS-SM) position’s scope include but not limited to the following Risk Management areas: Internal and external R& D Labs, internal and external plants, warehouses, distribution centers, transportation LSPs (ground, maritime, rail, intermodal, and air transportation), distribution channels and reverse logistics of raw material, semi-finished and finished products, PIP, promotional material, freight forwarders, 3pls, 4pls, ports, terminals, cross-docking, and transit points. As so, the position requires support at all levels of management, and must be reflected within the operational objectives of the various teams.
You will be responsible for:
Assist in planning and executing a Global Security strategy throughout the risk evaluation and mitigation in alignment with the Global Supply Chain guidance, establishing policies, procedures and programs that assure safe working conditions in the supply chain, while protecting assets. The main task of the position is assisting the GSCS Director with the supervision of the global, regional, and local supply chain security team and execute risk management strategies that provide safe conditions to protect the J& J supply chain and contribute to the continuity and growth of the business.
Oversee the project management and data collection to provide investigative guidance and identify problem areas with the J& J supply chain so corrective actions can be provided.
Apply experience and knowledge in Supply Chain Risk Management prioritizing the protection of assets (sites, products / equipment / analog information).
Support the business through the different security services provided to the end-to-end supply chain.
Strengthen the partnership with different functions within supply chain and across JNJ to ensure the integrity of our sites, brands, products and thus protect final consumers, patients and customers.
Promote the participation of Security as a key partner in the strategic business agenda.
Be a strategic partner for the regional and local Supply Chain organization.
Design, revise, supervise and execute standardized strategies, policies, procedures for the Supply Chain Security program to the Business Units in alignment with the business.
Provide support that identifies significant security risks, designs, and recommends strategies and programs to prevent and reduce loss of the organization's assets.
Implement global, regional, and local policies and programs for the Operating Companies in alignment with Global Supply Chain to respond to financial losses, crimes against the company to include but not limited to thefts, shortages, frauds, sabotage, missing assets, threats, shrinkage, tampering, inventory discrepancies, illegal substances within shipments, emergency situations and other illegal acts and/or risks within the supply chain.
Identify “Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats”, that allows developing and implementing supply chain security programs that contribute to mitigate risks.
Provide evaluated security information to the Business Units in supply chain that minimize the exposure to imminent threats and to contribute to reaching the business goals for the Company.
Apply the Credo Philosophy in all supply chain security-related activities.
Participate in the Global Crisis Management Team, coordinating, training for managing crises (BCP, table-top exercises, etc.), and communications across local affiliates during actual events in supply chain.
Coordination with other functions to coordinate and if needed to investigate supply chain security-related cases and supervising the registration of all incidents in Resolver (Supply Chain Security Incidents database).
Investigate and apply new methods, technologies, and techniques to assure all supply chain security investigations are conducted and closed in an efficient manner. This action involves both external and internal investigations and the formulation of action plans to remedy weaknesses to prevent future similar incidents.
Supervise the Global Supply Chain Security Assessment Program, ensuring that the diverse auditors are properly identified, selected, and trained; audits are executed in compliance with the procedures and the results of the assessments are properly communicated for resolution to the interested parties.
Supervise the Global Supply Chain Security Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring that the supply chain security programs and activities are properly identified, captured, measured, and improved, demonstrating as return of investment.
Identify opportunities for improvement, researching and studying industry trends in the Supply Chain Security arena and remain current with the newest technological advances within the supply chain security discipline.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Professional degree: BS Business Administration, Forensic Sciences / Security Management/ or related field; MBA (is a plus) (desired); CPP – PSP - PCI (is a plus) Military or Law Enforcement Background.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate security management; or 5-7 years of experience in law enforcement is required.
Demonstrated investigative, Physical Security and Supply Chain Security experience are required.
The ability to identify significant security risks and prioritize them based on the probability of occurrence is required.
Experience in providing security training is required.
Possess operational/management experience in risk assessment is required.
Demonstrated organization skills and sound judgement are required.
Must be results-objectives-goal oriented, a cost-benefit analyst, decision maker, strategic planner and tactical executive.
Ability to brief at all levels of the company and communicate openly and candidly across Business Units and operating companies is required.
Able to prioritize, plan and execute work programs on own initiative and work with other stakeholders is required.
Must be able to work from any location and travel up to 25% of the time on a short notice, to domestic and international destinations.

Maintain the Supply Chain Security Processes/Systems that support the Business Units, protects assets and products, and ensures the delivery of goods to the final Consumers, Patients and Customers.
Conduct thorough due diligence investigations of external business partners associated within Supply Chain, both domestically and internationally.
Determine trends in losses and assess the Supply Chain procedures vs. modus operandi and recommend actions to mitigate risks.
Assist the Business Units in achieving a Global Supply Chain Security certification to ensure a safe importation and exportation of raw material, semi-finished as well as finished products.
Liaise with other government and international agencies such as Customs, FDA, TSA, CBP, ICE, EU Customs, AEO, PIP, BASC, Global and Local Authorities, etc.
Review Global Cargo Security Certifications obligations and update Global Supply Chain Security procedures for validation process.
Maintain an active position within the Global Supply Chain Committees to act as a resource for the entire Supply Chain about disseminate Supply Chain Security intelligence as directed.
Participate in ICSC, OSAC, TAPA, SCSC, and similar association within the Supply Chain Security community.
Contribute and standardize the implementation of Global Supply Chain Control Tower and add Security Monitoring Center services.
Support the Global Supply Chain Security Director and liaise with Supply Chain Management, Make, Deliver, Planning, Operations and Distribution Management, Risk Management, Compliance, Business Development, Customer Service, and other related departments on Supply Chain business issues.
This position requires the individual to have an excellent working knowledge of supply chain security concepts and operations at large, security systems, investigations, and crisis management.
This position requires the handling of sensitive information in working with management that could affect the results of employee and business relations.
This position requires a certain degree of autonomy, based primarily on the frequency of travel involved and the wide variety of contacts that are encountered.
