Job Title: Procurement Analyst ERP System Implementation

About the role:

The Procurement Analyst supporting SAP S4 Hana Implementation will be responsible for assisting with the deployment, integration, and optimization of procurement functions within the new ERP system.

This role involves collaborating with IT, procurement teams, and vendors to ensure that all procurement activities are accurately captured in the system, leading to more efficient and streamlined operations.

Procurement Analyst supporting ERP System Implementation plays a critical role in ensuring that the procurement functions align with the JJMT new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system SAP S4 Hana. The role involves integrating procurement processes with the system, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP System Integration:

Collaborate with the ERP project team to ensure that procurement processes are properly configured and integrated into the new ERP system.

Support the mapping of existing procurement data (such as supplier information, purchase orders, contracts) to the ERP system.

Process Design & Optimization:

Work closely with the procurement department to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into system requirements and that the system optimally supports procurement processes.

Analyse and recommend improvements to procurement workflows and procedures within the ERP system to enhance efficiency.

Data Management:

  • Assist in migrating procurement data from legacy systems to the new ERP platform, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Ensure proper data governance and develop strategies for maintaining accurate and up-to-date supplier and purchase order records.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting:
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure procurement-related functions are working correctly in the new ERP system.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to procurement processes during and after system implementation.

Training & Support:

  • Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for procurement teams on how to use the ERP system effectively.
  • Provide ongoing support for procurement users, answering questions and resolving issues related to the system.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyse procurement data and system performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Create reports and dashboards in the ERP system to provide procurement and management teams with critical insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) or related software platforms.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Knowledge of data migration, system integration, and testing processes is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
  • Experience in ERP system implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • This role combines both technical and business skills, requiring an individual who can effectively communicate with stakeholders across departments and ensure the successful implementation of the ERP system in the procurement function.
