JOB SUMMARY
The HR Administrative Assistant at Jabil, Inc. provides essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient HR operations and contributing to a positive employee experience. This role involves assisting with various HR functions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting HR initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing presentations, and handling correspondence.
* Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire packets, coordinating background checks, and scheduling orientation sessions.
* Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
* Process HR-related paperwork, such as employment verifications, personnel changes, and benefits enrollment forms.
* Respond to general HR inquiries from employees, directing complex issues to appropriate HR specialists.
* Support HR projects and initiatives, including data collection, research, and report generation.
* Manage office supplies for the HR department and ensure the smooth operation of office equipment.
* Assist with event planning for company-wide activities and employee engagement initiatives.
* Generate routine HR reports and assist with data analysis as needed.
* Ability to schedule adjust a minimum of one partial shift a month to help support third or second shift inquiries.
* Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the HR management team.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
* 1-2 years of administrative support experience, preferably within a Human Resources department.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
* Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service oriented approach.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is a plus.
