Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Work Schedule: Full-time, 5 to 6 days per week, including Saturday. This is a temp to hire full-time permanent position.

This job is eligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.

JOB SUMMARY:

Goodwill Staffing is looking for someone with prior customer service and sales experience within the landscape industry. The ideal candidate will help customers with questions about materials, including mulch and rock for landscaping. The candidate will also answer phones, provide pricing, and load and unload materials. The candidate will be working inside and outside.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist customers with questions
  • Answer phones
  • Provide pricing
  • Load and unload materials
  • Be able to work in high pace environment
  • Set up deliveries
  • Responsible for helping customers determine the best product for their need
  • Determine how much product customers need
  • Estimate load sizes to correctly charge customers for dumping items
  • Other assigned duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

  • Previous landscape experience preferred
  • Previous customer service or sales counter experience preferred
  • Must be reliable
  • Must be friendly and helpful

Other:

  • Must be able to work Saturdays during busy season
